How Christmas Day has been for you?
I have always thought of Christmas time, when it has come round, as a good time; a kind, forgiving, charitable time; the only time I know of, in the long calendar of the year, when men and women seem by one consent to open their shut-up hearts freely, and to think of people below them as if they really were fellow passengers to the grave, and not another race of creatures bound on other journeys. ~Charles Dickens
Christmas time is the time when we bond to our family, when we visit our long lost friend and when we share the memories that have past in the whole year.
When we think about Christmas, our blood gets into our bloodstream ... deliver us excitement, the feeling that we only felt during this season. Well, time to close the books ... forget about the exams, stop mourning on our failure grades and raising a peace hand-sign to our most terror instructors.
As they say, this is the best time of the year.
So how did you celebrate Christmas?
If you ask me the same question, my answer will be a narration.
Before the day that we have waited for the season, a sad news has been delivered to us ..
My cousin that was very close to us passed away.
It was a devastating news for us because we thought we will be celebrating Christmas with him, without a one-side of the clan mourning for any lost, yet it happened.
Before Christmas we accompanied him to his last goal.
Tears overflow and over-marked our faces but then we know that all of these are included on the plan of our Lord, we might miss him but on the other side, we rejoice because he is in peace now.
On 24th , the sad faces turn to smiles as we ready ourselves in welcoming day of the the birth of our Savior.
As the hour goes by, various foods have been place on the table. Most them are deserts that we thought, the Noche Buena will never be complete without them. The pinoy delicacy that we crave in every special days - LECHON.
So how are the shots? :D

In the evening we conducted a small event, as in layman's term - Christmas Party. With all the neighbors, relatives and friends involved.
Games highlights that night, music is bombarding the compound and laughter's giggled more everyone's hearts that each of us feel that it's really the season of love!
And for your information, I'm the host of the night and I love it! It seems that I'm gonna pursue my ambition to replace Kris Aquino as the talk-show queen. Who knows?

We thought that everyone got oily faces in waiting for the Noche Buena , so we decided to put them up some specially made face-powder for a fresher look ...
The children enjoyed the game "Straws and Bottles" and showcase their stance and speed in putting and getting many straws as possible- for the sake of candies and coins. Try to look their determined faces in trying to win the game. We know that, we were once like them before.
So, after the energy-decreasing games, dehydrating runs and laughter, bone-breaking dances ...
what's the best part of the party?
YES! CHIBUGAN na! (Eating time!)

Can you guess how many months is HIS tummy? :D
Hehehe Joke :) Thats my Father :)
No matter how you celebrated Christmas, where and whom you spent it with, how expensive the gifts that you received and the food you ate, we should keep in mind that the core reason we celebrate Christmas is the love that God gave us, that He sacrificed His only begotten son to save us from the slavery of sin and the eternal death we deserve. We should not devalue and forget that important and historical matter.
Many are debating on what date we should celebrate Christmas Day- the birth of Christ, but it's not important on what day He came to us, the more important is the reason why He came here - to save us, and that is the thing we should celebrate and rejoice.
I really enjoyed the holidays! Full of love, fun and laughs.
Hope you'd enjoyed yours too!
